We are excited to introduce the latest version of Rayls, packed with new features and improvements to enhance your experience and streamline your operations.

Privacy Enhancements

  • Enygma Payment: This new protocol introduces a privacy-preserving payment token solution. It enables the creation of a private ERC-20 token within the Subnet hub and enhances the Rayls project by improving security, privacy, and transaction efficiency.
  • Enygma Programmability: Additional programmability in Enygma enhances governance and the flexibility of our atomic transactions. This update allows for the triggering of additional instructions within each Enygma atomic transaction, improving the overall functionality and control.

Enygma Payment - this tool is designed to meet privacy and auditability requirements, ensuring complete anonymity, confidentiality, and atomicity. These are the reasons that make this solution particularly useful for use cases like Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).

Security Enhancements

  • Key Management Module: The Key Management Module handles encryption processes and manages cryptographic key data (CKD) stored within the Rayls system. It ensures the secure creation of cryptographic keys and logs all key operations for compliance and security.

God View Subnet Operator Explorer

  • Transaction Monitoring & Visibility: This explorer offers full visibility of decrypted cross-chain transactions within a subnet hub to the Subnet Auditor. It simplifies monitoring transaction details, token registry, statuses, and balances between Rayls nodes within a subnet.
  • Support for Atomic Teleport Transfer Standards: The tool supports atomic teleport transfers, ensuring the efficient movement of assets across Rayls Nodes.
  • Enygma Payment Balances: Track the status of Enygma payment balances within the subnet.

A Transaction Explorer Exclusive for Subnet Operators - this exclusive tool for Subnet Operators offers unencrypted visibility and tracking of cross-chain transactions within the Private Rayls Subnet.

Auditability Enhancements

  • Fault Proof: Designed to ensure participant liveness, cross-chain immutability, transaction integrity, and fraud prevention (unauthorized spending and minting) in the Rayls Private Subnet. This feature leverages cryptographic robustness, such as time-based state (blockHeader) and cross-chain token balance (storageProof) commitments, token contract ownership, and transaction proofs. These safeguards ensure that the network remains secure, trusted, and resilient.

Participant Governance Enhancements

  • Freeze/Unfreeze Tokens: Subnet Operators now have the ability to freeze or unfreeze tokens, granting full control over the approved tokens and their ability to be exchanged across the subnet. This enhances governance and operational control, ensuring smooth token management.
  • Message Broadcast: The message broadcast feature enables efficient one-to-many messaging within the subnet. It allows participants to send messages across selected or all Rayls nodes, streamlining communication in scenarios such as auctions, price oracles, governance, and cross-information sharing.

  • Relayer Refactoring & Enhancements: Enhances the security of the system by enabling the secure creation of cryptographic keys.
  • Improved State and Development Cycle: Implementation of live reloading for key components to improve development cycles and state management.
  • Increased Resilience: Enhanced handling of the connection between PL and the DB to persist all the information.
  • Bug Fixes & General Improvements: A series of bug fixes and improvements to ensure the Rayls system runs smoothly and efficiently.
