Rayls High Level Architecture

Rayls is made of different components, and it was designed to appeal to both regulated financial institutions as well as DeFi users.

We sometimes joke that Rayls is like a Platypus: it has elements commonly found only in public permissionless chains and others only found in private permissioned chains.

The main components of Rayls are:

• Rayls Public Chain: An Ethereum L1 public permissionless chain
• Rayls Private Networks: An EVM L1 Permissioned blockchain with full privacy
• Rayls Privacy Node: An EVM chain with a protocol to connect the permissioned chains and public chain for financial institutions
• Rayls Token: A governance and utility token that unites the ecosystem
