Installing Private Subnet
Overview
The Rayls Private Subnet is a specialized EVM-based network designed for financial institutions, enabling secure, scalable, and compliant transactions within the Unifi'd ecosystem. This ecosystem merges traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi) into a unified framework known as "UniFi", allowing institutions to leverage blockchain technology while meeting regulatory standards.
Rayls Private Subnets, enable institutions to create their own permissioned blockchain environments. These subnets utilize advanced cryptographic techniques such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Homomorphic Encryption to ensure data privacy and compliance, while seamlessly connecting to the Rayls Public Chain for interoperability. This combination supports diverse use cases, from tokenization projects to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), enabling institutions to access larger liquidity pools and interact with DeFi protocols in a controlled environment

Prerequisites
Before setting up a Rayls Private Subnet, ensure the following requirements are met:
- Infrastructure:
- An appropriate cloud or on-premise environment that meets system requirements for CPU, memory, and storage. Read more about system sizing here.
- Access to Deployment Tools:
- Docker and Docker Compose for containerized deployments.
- Required components, such as the Commit Chain and supporting databases, must be ready.

Installation Steps
After receiving access to the Private Subnet GitHub Repository, follow these high-level steps:
- Clone the GitHub Repository:
- The repository contains all necessary installation scripts and configuration files.
- Follow the Setup Instructions:
- The instructions in the repository will guide you through configuring the network, including initializing the Commit Chain and setting up relayers and Privacy Ledgers.
- Configure Environment Variables:
- Customize deployment settings, such as URLs, keys, and resource allocations, using environment variables.
