How to: Run a Validator

The Rayls Public Chain launched on 30 April 2026 with all validators under the control of the Rayls Foundation. As part of the Rayls decentralisation roadmap, external partners are now invited to join the permissioned set of validators and add their security to the network.

Rayls plans to grow the initial permissioned validator set to approximately 20 across 2026. Future approval will be granted automatically and permissionlessly, and a Rayls DAO is expected to gain input on that process in 2027.
